It
was extremely interesting to see how wastewater became
clean water at the Marlborough Westerly Wastewater
Treatment Plant!
It is very important to remember NOT to use your drain
as a dump. In other words, liquids such as oil,
grease, paint thinner, and other household chemicals
should NOT be poured down the drain. Remember what
goes down your drain, eventually reaches the water,
plants, and animals of our environment. Gravity
and the bacteria can only do so much- the rest is up to
you!!! |
