Catch the Science Bug Summer Camp!!!

Set aside July 26th through the 30th to attend the Catch the Science Bug Summer Science Camp in Acton, MA at the Kinder Care Learning Center.  From 1 to 4 pm, you will experience three hours of hands-on and interactive science activities on engineering, environmental science, geology, hydrology, biology and chemistry! Sounds like a lot for kids in grades 1-6 but it is really a lot of fun!

We will build towers out of every day objects, explore the outdoors by investigating rocks, trees, and plants, spy on birds, have a mini-model boat building contest, and create a formula for Science Bug Putty.  The science content will be age appropriate even if we have a wide age span.  The camp will be taught by Kim Bent, MS. Kim has two degrees in science has worked as an environmental scientist and science teacher. She has been teaching in enrichment programs in the schools for the past 10 years. Four awards have been received for this work. She loves science and knows you will love the camp activities she has planned!
